As a casual player, this is exactly what I look for. It's the perfect 'one more go' game for my lunch break. Easy to pick up, and the upgrade system gives you a satisfying sense of progress without demanding too much attention. Wish the bounce animation was a bit more varied, but seriously a solid time-killer.
The core loop of timing the hit is surprisingly addictive. The real meta is balancing the Strength vs. Speed upgrades to maximize the bounce potential. Just hit the 100,000m mark, but the global leaderboard refresh rate is a bit slow. Still, a fantastic score-chaser. Devs, please optimize the leaderboard!
Compared to other click-timing arcade games in this category, Ball Orbit has a much smoother progression curve. The visual feedback on a 'Perfect Hit' feels amazing. It's basically a highly polished 'Distance Clicker.' My only gripe is that the first few levels of the 'Bounce' upgrade feel underwhelming compared to 'Strength.' Good game tho.
OMG I saw this and thought it would be boring but I am obsessed! I've spent all afternoon trying to get past my high score. Watching the ball just keep going after a massive hit is so satisfying. I didn't even know I liked these kinds of games! Totally hooked! Five stars!
